Roy Dickins

It’s almost 59 years since we got engaged on Valentines Card in 1964, we met at Margate and spent almost 60 years together, 55 years wed. We always celebrated this milestone in our relationship. On one occasion I wrote a poem about our love featuring the titles of Buddy Holly Songs as we both loved his songs so much. I read this out at Roy’s funeral in September 2021. I’m going to celebrate with an afternoon Valentine tea which some other ladies I have met. Will love you forever my darling.
