Dad, I know you wouldn't want us to be sad as this was always your favourite time of year so I try and continue as I know you'd want me to. This will be our 6th Christmas without you and being 36 weeks pregnant only reiterates your missing presence at the table this year. I do wish you could have stayed to meet your first granddaughter however I know she will always be in safe hands now with her guardian angel looking over her.
