My Mum, Brenda Glover

Mum, my heart broke into a million pieces when you took your last breath. You were my best friend, we spoke everyday. This run-up to Christmas has been the hardest one, our first Christmas without you. I miss our shopping trips to town, the tea and cake, the endless circuits of M&S, our chats putting the world to rights. I’m not sure how this Christmas will be but you are in my thoughts every single day, I’ll be there to help dad and try to make Christmas as special as you always did. Love you x
