Mum (Doreen)

Mum, I never knew I’d miss you this much, that your death would hit me so powerfully and that I would feel so helpless and alone. I was the one who moved away, told you what you didn’t want to hear and often annoyed you but god I miss you. I just love you so much. Thank you for teaching me the beauty of life in your last months, thank you for being strong when your life fell apart when our father left, thank you for being there when I came out, thank you for being my mum.
