Dad, I'm sorry our relationship was so strained sometimes. I'm sorry I couldn't find it in my heart to reconcile properly before you died. I'm sorry you never even got to see your 50th birthday. I wish I could tell you how much I miss you, how influential you've been. I wish you could meet your son in law and see how good I've gotten at gardening and DIY in your absence. I wish you could see how much like you I've become. I wish you were here. I love you xxx
