Knowing you died alone is hard and knowing I was only a text away is hard. What's harder is the questions of "what could I have done differently" you miss being a grandad (even that was your fear). I just wish you reached out to talk to me, you know I would have never judged you. I'm trying so hard to be strong....but I'm not. I cared deeply for you and will carry on caring till it's my turn to pass. Rest after weariness, peace after pain.
